2 Bedroom House in Sturgeon Bay
OUR cottage is perfect for one or two couples or an entire family. Cozy up with a good book and a glass of wine next to one of the two fireplaces. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings on our wooded 1.5 acre property. Walk around the quiet neighborhood hidden away from the rest of the Door County tourists.
Only 10 minutes to Sturgeon Bay. Plenty of driveway parking.
BEDROOMS: You will have two bedrooms, both with a queen sized bed in them. There are no other beds in the cottage.
LIVING ROOMS: You will have TWO Living Rooms! The front living room is connected to the kitchen and dining area. It has a wood burning fireplace, comfortable furniture and a 55" Roku TV. Plus, a nice view of Meunier Drive and the scenery that surrounds the cottage. If you watch long enough, you will probably see more people than cars on Meunier Drive.
The back Living Room is large and furnished with huge, super-comfy, sectional. Enjoy a movie, binge a TV show or play some classic Nintendo on the 65" Roku TV. There is a bookshelf with some good reads and a variety of board games and puzzles for you to enjoy.
You are welcome to the DVDs of movies and tv shows that we have available. Both TVs are Roku and are in GUEST MODE. You will log into your own streaming subscriptions and set a date to be automatically logged out.
The Mini Nintendo in the Family Room has almost the entire Original Nintendo catalog on it. That's 793 games!
KITCHEN/DINING: We have a full kitchen with refrigerator, stove/oven and microwave. Basics such as pots, pans, plates, glasses, utensils, etc. are provided. Enjoy your meals outside on the large deck or inside at the dining table. We have well water in the cottage. It was recently tested in May 2022 and is safe for drinking.
WASHER/DRYER: Laundry is boring. But we do have a laundry room with a full sized washer and dryer to be able to do any laundry during your stay.
OUTDOOR SPACE: You will love spending time on the cottage's large deck. Plenty of seating to just sit around with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Enjoy the over an acre and a half land with several short trails. Feel free to eat the raspberries that grow on the property if they are in season. There is poison ivy in the woods so please stay on the grass in order to avoid it. End the day with a bonfire and some smores in your backyard firepit.
BAY OF GREEN BAY: The cottage is not on the water but very close. We are a short 8 minute walk to Sand Bay. You can launch your kayak at the end of Meunier Dr. If you bring a boat, you can find launches throughout the area. The closet being a couples miles away.
Haines Beach is a short walk/drive away. It's where the party is at! Especially on the hot/sunny Door County weekends you will see the water lined with people and watercrafts. The shallow water is perfect to hang out on the beach or park your boat/kayak/canoe and float around in the sandy waters.
INTERNET: You will have the best internet available for our area of Door County. However, it may not as fast as what you're used to. According to our satellite internet provider it's 25gb down and 8 up. Fast enough to stream movies but we recommend limiting the number of devices connected to assure the best connection.

PETS: NO CATS. We allow well behaved dogs in our cottage for a fee but ask that:
1. You clean up after your dog
2. You crate your dog if you leave them home alone
3. You don't allow them on the furniture unless your cover the furniture first
4. You don't bring them if they are not well trained.
5. You let us know if your dog does damage anything
NOTE:
A couple of other important rules are:
1. Absolutely no smoking anywhere on our property
2. Absolutely no illegal activity such as drug use is allow on our property
