Be ready to take a step back in time, sit back and relax when you visit Walden Cottage. A quaint, charming cottage featuring simple, cozy decor is only a "hop, skip and a jump" to the beach, PM Park and McIntosh Woods State Park.

Located on the west side of Clear Lake, it’s just a ten minute drive (or less) to downtown Clear Lake, IA, the public beach and the historic Surf Ballroom. Spend your time going for walks, bike riding, laying on the beach with a good book, shopping for antiques in downtown Clear Lake, fishing, skiing, kayaking, and listening to the crackling fire at the end of the day.

(We will close the cottage for the winter months when the temperatures reach freezing.)
