Currently available for EAA Airventure 2023! Prime Lake Winnebago location on a protected bay only seven miles from Oshkosh and ten miles from Fond du lac. This unique site boast seventy ft. lake frontage with a great pier plus 150 ft. of channel footage. Enjoy the sandy bottom swim area, patio, fire pit and the huge yard. The quiet neighborhood is perfect for leisurely strolls with lake and channel views around the entire point.
The Space
There are a few options for launching your boat nearby. Black Wolf public boat launch
just south of the bay and Kalbus Camp has a launch with a fee. There is a concrete patio with a large picnic table. The yard by the lake is great for playing games and relaxing. The pier offers a great spot to fish and swim. This location is great fun for kids, but they need to be supervised at all times. The lake and the channel are wonderful but can pose risk to those who can't swim.
Guest Access
Guest have access to an in-seasons pier, with steps from the pier to enter the sandy bottom bay, as well as a washer and dryer. Although shown in picture the lift is inaccessible and will not be in the lake this year. There are no overnight tie ups to the pier. The lake can get very rough, damaging the pier and boat. {guests would be responsible for any damage to the pier}

Our family visits in the area from time to time so we are familiar with everything this location has to offer. Feel free to ask about entertainment options. We live an hour away so we can take care of everything over the phone/text.
Neighborhood Overview
The neighborhood, Point Comfort, is quiet with many year-round homes.
The neighbors are great, so please remember to be respectful(keep outside noise to minimum after 10pm). The lightly trafficked roads are perfect for morning walks or bike rides with views of the lake. No fireworks! No outside music after 10 pm!
Getting Around
If you bring a boat, you can enjoy taking a short ride to restaurants nearby such as TJ's and Wendt's. You can also head across the lake to Pipe, WI. There you can take in the views after climbing the observation tower/before dining at Jim and Linda's Supper club. Take a ride up the Fox River to downtown Oshkosh to eat on the river front and also enjoy the Saturday morning Farmers market
Other Things To Note
There is parking for four cars, please take that into account on needing space for a trailer. There can be algae In Lake Winnebago. It can very with conditions though....if the wind is from a certain direction , was it a wet spring, etc. We very rarely miss a chance to swim but felt this should be brought to your attention.
