Our studio style property is centrally located between the theme parks and the coast, but out of the city giving a wonderful, private, and semi-secluded stay. 320 sq ft of interior living space and 320 sq ft of deck equipped with with a hot tub, a bbq, and seating to relax and soak in the beautiful surrounding views.
Welcome to what we affectionately call “Tailypo” What was once the original homestead shack over time had become a rundown ransacked shed that we jokingly called Tailypo reminiscent of the shack in the spooky classic tale. We didn’t have the heart to see it rot away so little by little we have restored the one room shack including reusing the original cypress cladding, refinishing the old wood floor, skinning an interior wall with the original tin roofing, mixed with some modern amenities. Tailypo is a perfect cozy retreat for 2 nestled up against a cypress swamp where if you listen close enough you can still hear the howling’s of Uno, Ino, and Cumptico-Calico…or maybe something else.
For those who may wonder, only registered guests are allowed on the property wether sleeping there or not.
