Summary: Traverse City hotels seem to be expensive, over 500 usd for two nights seemed above expected price for this dated property. Check in was pleasant. Bed was clean and comfy. This hotel is an older property begging for a renovation. Light bulb was out in the room entry. Door sticks opening to the bathroom. Bathroom was older, and clean except for baseboards and corner. The property is next to a very busy highway. Our room on the end had a lot of street noise. The property is across the highway from beach resorts. We walked over to Alexandra Inn for beach view and sunset drinks. (We ubered several miles to see downtown, and the driver informed us none were available after 10pm to return.) Breakfast coffee was good, all prepackaged food items offered for breakfast, and oatmeal packs/yogurts/apple .…no hot fresh breakfast.
