7 Bedroom House in Pressignac-Vicq
Our home dates back 1842. It is the perfect place to discover Dordogne: it is located in the middle of the best places to visit whatever you are looking for: Wine, castles, golf, bastides or caves!
The property is settled in a very small hamlet, and offers a total privacy with its 1 ha (2.47 acres)!
It is tastefully renovated with all modern appliances; antique furniture, French double glazing windows and exposed beams. We keep renovating it and updating it and we have been doing for more than 15 years.
We rent the main house and the recent pool house.
During winter, the access to the pool house is not possible.
Description of the main house:
The ground floor:
A nice, fully equipped open kitchen with a large dining table and a large traditional fireplace.
A second american fridge, a washer and a dryer are located in the adjacent laundry.
A guest toilet and 2 entrance rooms.
In the cozy living room, stands the second fireplace, a piano, 2 comfortable sofas and armchairs, a TV, DVDs, board games, guide books and maps!
Here, people love to meet each other!
The 1st floor:
4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets.
The 2nd floor:
1 bedroom with air conditioning and a video room that can be turned into a a dormitory.
Insulation has been freshly installed so that the house is fresh in summer and warm in winter.
Settled in the old tobacco warehouse, the pool house offers the 6th bedroom and the 4th shower-room, with toilet.
It also offers another full kitchen with garden furniture so that you can spend your day next to the swimming pool, have nice diners under the sky and enjoy the beautiful sunsets!
The swimming pool is maintained once a week and is secured with an alarm.
From October 5th - May 1st:
The access to the pool is closed and prices shown do not include heating charges. Please note that the boiler is new and the main house is perfectly insulated.
If you wish to come to Dordogne by the end of Summer, in Autumn or in Winter, you will enjoy the fire crackles in the large fireplace after a quiet walk in the forest, a family gathered around a party game or around the piano.
You may visit the wine cellars of Monbazillac and Pécharmant, the medieval castles and prehistoric caves or the wonderful bastides without any crowds.
