Summary: This rating is based solely on the owner. We have been renting through Vrbo for over 10 years and all our experiences have been 5 star. This is the lowest rating I have ever given an owner. Shortly after booking and paying in full, he tried to switch us to a one bedroom condo because “it has a view of the marina”. The 7th floor we rented has a beautiful view of the gulf. He was rude and failed to communicate important information, other than where to park and how to get into the condo. All other communication was me asking him questions such as Wi-Fi code and where to find the fitness center, etc. On day 2 after being at the pool, I couldn’t find the hair dryer. When I asked about it, he told me to “just go outside” (I have the text message!). He eventually brought one the next day. Now for the good news. The condo is nice with a great view. It was clean upon check-in except for the bag of trash left in the shower of the primary bathroom. The kitchen is well stocked with essentials and plenty of paper products. We would stay in Burnt Store Marina again, but never from this owner.
