A stones throw from The Thacher School, Krishnamurti Foundation and direct access to a vast network of trails and flowing water along Horn Canyon. Private Guest House parking and entrance separate from primary property entrance. Enter the Guest House via a flagstone patio with outdoor dining table lined with fruiting pineapple guava hedges and views of the Topa Topas. The kitchen is stocked with everything needed to feel at home. Charming and spacious living area with oversized sectional sofa and wall mounted TV. Original working fireplace (with owner permission) and dining table for 6+. A set of French doors open from living area to sunny and private deck with daybed and cafe table. The 2 primary bedrooms each have a Queen bed and blackout linen shades. One of the bedrooms opens out to the deck space where there is private outdoor shower nestled under the canopy of a tree. The main remodeled bathroom has a claw foot soaking tub with hand shower. Large linen closet and full washer/dryer inside the home. Down a set of exteriors stairs is a a private 3rd bedroom with double bed, desk space and a full bathroom with shower. This detached room is perfect for a separate and private work from home space. Guests love the serenity of the property, tucked off the road and nestled in nature in the most quintessential and historic part of Ojai. Owners live on site in the main house. *Available for minimum 30 day stays (reduced monthly rates and longer term rates available, please inquire).
