Summary: This establishment is billed as a resort, but it felt more like a hotel or motel. I think it would have met expectations if it didn't have "resort" in the name. Some examples: no porter to help with luggage, no carts, and our room was located several hundred yards from the lobby. The restaurant was understaffed and we had to wait 45 minutes at times for service. Room view was obstructed but there was no disclosure of this or chance to pay more for a room with a better view, for what I saw. When checking in, there was no secure place to leave our luggage while we waited for our room to be available; it sat in the lobby. The staff were fairly curt and not very friendly and welcoming. Room condition/cleanliness was fine and landscaping was fine.
