Nestled on 9+ acres, surrounded by farmland in the Sierra Foothills, our Modern Farmhouse Bungalow offers guests everything needed for a great experience!
Our proximity to: Lake Tahoe, Folsom Lake, Old Folsom, Old Auburn, Sacramento, the San Francisco Bay Area and local, Sierra Foothills Wine & Bike Trails; allows: Beaching, Skiing, Boating, Fishing, Shopping, Fine Dining, Wine Tasting, Biking, Sporting events and Concerts.
What makes our space unique is our great country location! We are tucked away on 9+ acres and surrounded by trees, rolling hills, lush landscape and natural rock outcroppings allowing for plenty of rest & relaxation. Enjoy the Farmhouse Bungalow's serene country setting while taking your morning walks with coffee in hand while viewing water features, wildlife, and lush countryside landscape. Ask us about a couple of nearby Lavender Farms where you can pick fresh lavender to soothe your senses.
You will love our prime central location just a hop skip and a jump (5 minutes) to downtown Loomis. Our 9+ Acre Retreat-like setting is home to (two listings) including our: "Modern Farmhouse Bungalow" & "Loomis Log Cabin" Tranquil Countryside Getaways.
Our location has been called "super convenient" by past Guests who love that we are surrounded by the "Winery" & "Biking" trails. Loomis is also home to a plethora of Breweries, Coffee Houses, Breakfast spots, Burger houses and boutique eateries such as the infamous High Hand Nursery with it's beautiful Aviary Cafe and The Mug & Company Restaurant. shopping.
If you need to Shop till You Drop, the Galleria Mall & Old Town's of Auburn & Folsom are just 15-20 minutes away and Sacramento is 30 minutes away.
Want to tour scenic Lake Tahoe's shoreline: It's only an hour and a half to 2 hours to several ski resorts & gambling on Lake Tahoe's Nevada side & to Reno: "The Biggest Little City in the World"
Whatever your desire is, the expanse of our countryside property and our convenient location will allow you to enjoy plenty of relaxation and outdoor activities including, countryside nature walks, rest and relaxation, sunbathing, biking, hiking, shopping and dining.
The “Farmhouse Bungalow” is a private, upstairs, 950 square foot suite that’s all your own. Guests enjoy a small private deck, great for enjoying a cup of coffee.
There is a also a sitting area below the Bungalow as well as a nearby Gazebo intended for Bungalow Guest use only.
The common area also shown in pictures; includes a Gazebo, a Barbecue Counter with two Weber Charcoal Barbecues, and a small refrigerator. Guests can also enjoy our hammock and fire pit areas that are shared with our "Loomis Log Cabin Guests". Note: Many friendships have been forged by those not shy of gathering together after a simple "Hello". Weather you are outgoing or like space to yourself, there are many landscaped niches on the property and plenty of opportunity for privacy and alone time.
Guests are welcome to roam our 9+ acres. Feel free to ask for boundary markers before heading out on an excursion.😊
Safety Precautions:
1. Several of our neighbors have FARM ANIMALS including Cows, Pigs, Chickens, Roosters and Horses. Feel free to view but keep a 5 ft. distance in order to be respectful of our neighbors and please don’t pet the animals.
2. Our Family has built many STRUCTURES to add to the aesthetics of our property.
For your safety: please refrain from climbing on structures including: fences, farm equipment, water features, tractors, or water troughs
3. Gigantic ROCK OUTCROPPINGS are covered in natural moss which can be slippery. Please DO NOT CLIMB on these as they can break apart and fall to the ground. Enjoy the rich green moss as it's taken up to a hundred years to grow. It's for your eyes only :-)
Guest Interaction:
We love meeting our Guests! We are on the property most every day and are readily available to meet all our Guests needs. If Guests desire and our schedules line up, we would love to join you by the Gazebo to enjoy a glass of wine, iced tea, a roasted marshmallow and a little get to know ya conversation!😊
Parking & Public Transportation:
No need to worry! Both of our listings have dedicated parking areas and plenty of extra parking if needed just inquire prior to booking please.
If you are wanting an excursion, public transportation including Uber and Lyft are available inside city limits. Want a different experience?- Take the train from nearby Auburn to Reno through scenic Donner Summit! Or come join us from the Bay Area via the Amtrak Train.

Drive 5 miles per hour when driving up Surette Lane to keep the neighborhood safe, noise down and dust to a minimum.
Briquettes and lighter fluid are often provided for the BBQ however, you may want to check the supply in case previous Guests enjoyed barbecuing several times during their stay and used them up. Raley’s is only 5 minutes away in Loomis just in case 😊
Our Bungalow listing is accessible via the outside stairway shown in the pictures.
Our wifi works well yet we want to let you know that being surrounded by beautiful trees can sometimes make things a tad sluggish. All in all - We remain thankful for our country living! 😊
Pets & Service Animals:
We have Family Members who are severely allergic to pets so even service dogs will not be accepted. We have spoken to our Short Term Rental Case Managers so they are fully aware and mutually educated on the: “American Disability Act” and it’s laws. Our biggest concern is our Guests and Family members health. Thank You for understanding.
There will be an extra charge for photoshoots, meetings, workshops, etc. Please inquire with us.
We will be requesting I.D. from the Guest who booked to confirm you are one of the person ls staying in our listing.
Note: We will not see the ID until after booking takes place.

WHAT WE REQUIRE:
- Booking Guest must be 25 years of age or older
- The maximum amount of Guests allowed in our listing is (4 People)
- A front facing Photo ID of the booking Guest is to be posted in the App however, the photo is not visible to Hosts until after the booking
- No parties or (undeclared) Guests are allowed on the premises
- Smoking is allowed outside in designated areas. We are happy to show you where. Please be respectful by placing all butts in containers in the designated fire pit areas
- Please, No Smoking inside or within 30 feet of our listings. 👍
Note: If this rule is violated and smell's or other damage occurs, a $300 fine as well as immediate removal from the listing will occur with zero refund to the Booking Guest.
- The Booking Guest takes full responsibility for any and all damages that occur in the Listing or on our property.
EVENTS:
We have had many requests for small events such as:
Vow Renewals, Small Intimate Weddings, Rehearsal dinners, Engagement Parties, Bridal & Baby Showers, Pastoral Retreats and Professional Business Seminars. Please message us prior to booking to discuss: Fees, Guest Count etc. for Your Special event. event.
- No Pets including service animals. We have already discussed with Airbnb that we are exempt from Service animals due to a family member being highly allergic.
- Any tampering with the cameras on our property could result in immediate eviction without a refund.
- Most Important: Have Fun and Enjoy our little Slice of Heaven!
