Welcome to The Fisherman's Bunkhouse on Watts Bar Lake, a tiny home with 3 bunkbeds which sleep 6. It's perfect for the basic crash pad after a day on the lake! Everything you need. Nothing that you don't! (Think…rugged glamping) Besides having super comfy beds, ya have a non cook kitchen offering a microwave and a refrigerator with small freezer. You also have a charcoal grill outside for cooking up all the fish you are going to catch! We provide paper plates, plastic stem ware and of course solo cups. No dishes to do here!
For entertainment you may enjoy watching a DVD, play a board game or sit outside by the fire pit roasting marshmallows talking about that fish that got away!
If you need to check into work, it does have wifi, but it’s rural wifi which means when weather is coming in, the internet will be going out. You will enjoy the sound of the rain hitting the tin roof so much more then any electronic device! Let the kids know that streaming may not be an option, but every now and then ya can get lucky!
The tiny home bunkhouse sits in a small private RV lot just a block from the water and public boat launch next to another tiny home that sleeps 4, also available for rent. (The second tiny home has no bunks beds and is more traditional glamping). There may be an additional RV site available for rent in the small park if you want to bring your own home on wheels.
A few hints to those new to tiny homes, if you are able to leave something outside ( like a cooler ) then do it. Anything you bring into the home most likely will end up on your bed so choose wisely. If you weren’t close before you came on vacation , you most likely will be when you leave.
