Summary: Overall we didn't really get a 5 Star vibe. The accommodations were nice, property is beautiful and appears to be well maintained. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The food is decent/fairly good, it's not mind blowing by any means. The main negative was that some of the staff were not the friendliest. A few were straight up rude, acted like we were inconveniencing them by asking for a fork or a glass of water. We had to ask for things multiple times before getting them, usually having to wave someone down to place an order (whereas you'd think they would come to you proactively to ask if there's anything you'd like). Don't get me wrong, some of their staff were wonderful and pleasant, but I have to be honest that on more than one occasion we were brushed off or treated disrespectfully. I was in a group of 6 people total and everyone commented about this. It was unfortunate considering the cost we spent to be there and enjoy the all inclusive add on. I personally don't think it was worth the hype and the 5* rating seems a little extravagant for what you get with this property.
