Our secluded Lakefront "Gaston Getaway" is an absolutely great family reunion spot within a 3 hour drive of
Washington DC , Charlotte NC & Wilmington NC !! Debbie & I haveowned this serene vacation location since 2001 &
it has provided our family & friends & renters over 2 decades of relaxing solace....This hidden gem of a Lakefront home was totally renovated in 2010.
Over 1,000 squarefeet of living space was added , including 500 square feet of a well stocked beautiful kitchen & a dining room to easily seat 10 familymembers.
This addition also included a 500 square foot huge bedroom suite with whirlpool tub bath with tiled shower & dual sinks. This "owner's suite" also has a lovely semi private view of the lake.
Your "Gaston Getaway" will now be able to accommodate up to 14 extended family members.
We have 4 bedrooms & a loft with a queen futon & a freshly renovated garage apartment with another queen futon & 2 twin beds. The apartment features yet another deck withalake view & is perfect for a younger couple with 2 "kids".
This detached unit has a kitchenette, a large full bath, & flatscreen TV !!
In addition, our basement of the main dwelling has a full size solid slate pool table, flat screen TV, a wet bar, & good size screened in porchwith a ping pong table & another great lake view....
The lake views from all 3 levels of this A frame are tremendous....especially to view the sunrises.
To continue, there is also a firepitfor relaxing cooler evenings from mid March thru mid October.
Another big plus is that our secondhome comes with one of the largest docks on all of Lake Gaston!!
Our dock is 18 by 32 feet includinga 10 by 10 foot covered area to helpprotect both kids & adults from the summer heat.
The dock also enables boaters to tie up at least one 20 foot vessel.
Finally, we are fortunate to havenearly 8 feet of very swimmable water rightoff the dock.
Two Adirondackchairs & two Infinity chairs will be there for you to help enjoy the lake.
We would be remiss not to mention that the main deck which willhouse your entire group, is well furnished with
comfortable patio couches!! Thus far we only have 5 STAR reviews!!
