PLEASE NOTE -- Due to the current situation regarding cleaning; the cleaning crew will be spraying all surfaces with disinfectant and using disinfecting wipes on all areas before they leave. Unfortunately, you will need to bring your own linens, blankets, towels and if you choose pillows. There will be pillows in the closet if you choose to use them a comforter on the bed. There will also be extra disinfectant spray and wipes for your use. I have contracted a new cleaning service which was very competent in 2022 and I think you will be happy with the final results. However, this cleaning service charges $150 and $50 for each pet.
This will also change the time of check-out to 11AM and check-in at 3 PM
Kite Fest no date has been set for kite fest on the Island. to my knowledge. This is usually a very sort after weekend.
Chowder Fest date undetermined as yet but in the past it has been the first weekend in October.
The apartment can be accessed through a lock box by the door. Brand New Large Open Fiberglass Deck with BBQ, umbrella and table with 4 chairs also three additional chairs for comfort. The bedroom has a Queen size bed and the other a full size bed, both have dressers, mirrors, lamps and nightstand plus two fans. In the Kitchen/Living Room is a sleeper futon with an 8" mattress, a recliner, 40 inch TV, with firestick use, a table and a reading area with a private entrance to the Deck. The Kitchen is fully stocked (plates, lg pots/pans service for 8) microwave, toaster, coffee pot, blender, etc.) and has a breakfast area with two stools. There is 1 bath. There are many windows and cross ventilation in the apartment. An air conditioner in the living room window, a quiet ceiling attic fan, and many fans in the other rooms. The apartment is not fully air conditioned. This is a bright and sunny apt. with all the comforts of home and a somewhat nostalgic flair.
CANCELLATION POLICY; on off season rentals the cancellation policy is nonrefundable 30 days before rental date. On Seasonal rentals the cancellation is nonrefundable as of June 1, 2023

Summary: My husband and I were looking for a casual rental, nothing fancy, close to the beach, and walking distance to anything we’d need. We got all that, and more! Marilyn was a very gracious host, on site, but not obtrusive in any way. We did have family stay with us for a few day, and it was definitely tight, with six adults and a four year old, but we weren’t there for hanging around inside! 4 houses down from the beach entrance, and a short walk to the bay. Ice cream parlor on the corner, a market, a liquor store and some great dining (highly recommend Harvey Cedars Shellfish Co.) all within a few blocks. Everything we needed, all in one little package! The house is well equipped, and the deck added just enough extra space when it got too crowded for us. Best of all, our dog was welcome there too. All in all, a good week.
