We are located in the quiet village of Ashby Folville near Melton Mowbray.
Take a stroll to our local pub The Carrington Arms, just a 2 minute walk away. They serve lunch and evening meals using fresh local produce. They also have "Tuesday Curry Night" and "Friday Fish & Chips Night" and of course your traditional Sunday Lunch! Gluten free, vegetarian and vegan dishes are always on the menu.
This is the ideal location for those wanting to escape to the peaceful countryside and go for lovely long walks! Rural Leicestershire is beautiful and there are plenty footpaths to explore.
There are also lots of things to do nearby - Melton Mowbray is famous for Pork Pies and Stilton Cheese! Further afield there is much more to enjoy, including Belvoir Castle, King Richard III Visitor Center, Twinlakes Park, Ragdale Hall Spa etc.
Rutland Water Park is about a 30 minute drive away and well worth a visit. Here you can enjoy fishing, sailing, cycling and walking. In the summer months there is also an inflatable aqua park!
