Stormont Shepherds Hut is a sweet hand-cafted hut with plenty of extra little comforts. Set in the foothills of the Yorkshire Wolds countryside, it is one of four homely modern shepherds huts for a fun glamping escape.
Set in the grounds of Clayfield Farm, the quiet location is a great spot to escape for a weekend away with a loved one or to base yourself for exploring the surrounding area. Each hut has a comfy double bed with luxury linens are storage underneath. There are a couple of fold down TV tables, wifi, a console table and chairs, a cosy wood burning stove, a small fridge, a kettle and a television. The hut has been built with extra insulation and there is also the luxury of underfloor heating for those chillier months.
Outside the hut is a private gravelled area fenced off with hazel wood panelling. Sit at the table and chairs or relax on the sun loungers and enjoy the panoramic views of the picturesque farmland, both arable and home to sheep and lambs. Embrace the glamping experience and cook alfresco on the charcoal barbecue provided for each hut. There is also a convenient outside cold tap (mains water) by each hut. In addition, a fire pit and pizza oven are available for shared use by all glamping guests.
Each hut has its own private shower room with a shower, WC, and wash basin; the separate shower block and kitchen is a few steps from your hut. The well-equipped kitchen is communal and shared by the four huts with use of an electric oven, kettle, microwave, washing machine and plenty of crockery, pots, and pans. Each morning fresh bread and milk will be provided in the kitchen for all huts. Tea, coffee, biscuits and local jams will be included in your welcome pack on arrival. There is communal outdoor undercover seating by the kitchen, and a washing up and food prep area.

Double bed with linen with bed side tables and lamps, two small fold up tables and chairs, a small wood burning stove, mini fridge, kettle, wall mounted television.
Underfloor heating throughout, towels provided, wifi available, electric socket for charging basics.
There is also a portable WC within your hut.

Table and two chairs, double sun lounger, charcoal barbecue. Cold water tap. Communal fire pit and pizza oven.
