Harriet's Hideaway - Inviting waterfront retreat. This is a pleasant summer home on a quiet side street in the Goodyear Lake neighborhood. Located on the north end of Goodyear Lake, it is very close to a section of Goodyear Lake called 'the Stump Lot' which has some of the best bass fishing in Central New York. There is a large level yard sloping down to the water. The fishing is great and this area is ideal for canoeing and kayaking - your hosts provide 2 canoes and 2 kayaks.
Take time to wind down as you relax in the front open deck overlooking the water. This cottage is kept in immaculate condition.This one-story home is convenient to both Cooperstown Dreams Park and All Star Village.

Summary: This property was just as expected. We enjoyed the river views and back yard. Having access to the canoe and kayaks was a great amenity. This house fit well for 2 adults and 3 kids with room for more with additional sleeping options with the pull out sofa bed. The kitchen accessories we needed were all stocked. Travel to Dreams Park was easy. The owner is across the street and never felt intrusive, but instead very kind :)
