Getting Around:
28 miles from PHX Airport & 11 miles from the Scottsdale Airport (SCF). It’s best to have a car as Uber/Lyft services may be difficult to get from this property. Garage parking for 2 cars & space on the driveway. Trucks, RVs, trailers welcome.
Other Things to Note:
Fire pits are seasonal and not operable during summer months as they pose a fire risk.
STATE LAW STRICTLY PROHIBITS PARTIES/EVENTS. Residential Scottsdale has quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am. We must respect our neighbors. The home is outfitted with NoiseAware (measures volume decibels; doesn't record) that notifies us when noise levels at the property exceed the set limit. Violating noise ordinances is a minimum $2000 fine. If the police are called or noise monitors go off more than twice, guests will be fined and asked to leave. We only issue one warning. Please consider this before booking. Thank you!
We use SUPERHOG for guest screening. Your SUPERHOG application must match the primary guest on the reservation and your background check completed within 48 hours of receiving your booking confirmation (State and City law). Your booking is NOT confirmed until these are fulfilled. Once the reservation is confirmed, and prior to check-in, guests must sign a Rental Agreement outlining the terms of the stay which states that you agree to/that:
- abide by our rental terms and conditions.
- provide a copy of a valid government-issued ID and matching credit card.
- we collect either a fully-refundable deposit (w/non-refundable admin fee) or a non-refundable damage waiver.
- both the deposit and the waiver cover you for any accidental damage during your stay.
The max occupancy is 12. Day visitors are ok but must not stay overnight. There's a $250 per person fine for overnight guests over the max occupancy.
The cleaning fee is pass-through, meaning it all goes to our cleaning team, Well & Good . We pay above-average rates to guarantee a clean and safe environment. Well & Good promises: 1) Professional Cleaners (trained/certified) 2) Offsite Laundering like fresh hotel linens & 3) Essentials: luxury soaps, etc. Mid-stay cleaning is extra. Just notify us to arrange.
We provide some complimentary home & bath essentials, like soap, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, paper towels & laundry detergent. Anything else needed, you'll nee to purchase it.
There are surveillance cameras on the exterior of the property for security & guest safety.
We believe in complete transparency! As temperatures rise, it's not uncommon to encounter some native wildlife, including mice and insects, particularly around the pool and garden areas. Despite our best efforts to keep the premises clean and inviting, these creatures are a natural part of the desert ecosystem.
The pool can be heated for $125/day (3 consecutive day min). Must be requested and paid 36 hrs before check-in date, as it takes time to heat the pool. (7 days or longer, there's a discounted rate of $100/day.)
HOUSE RULES:
- Travelers must be at least 25 years of age or older to book.
- Primary guest on the reservation must stay at the property.
- Locals must contact us prior to booking. Instabook is unavailable for residents coming from within 4 hours of Scottsdale, AZ.
- Smoking of any kind (tobacco or cannabis) inside the home is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply with the non-smoking policy will incur a $2,500 penalty if damage to furniture or any smoking odor is detected.
- Recreational drug use or any illegal activity at the property is also strictly prohibited. Failure to comply incurs a $300 penalty.
- No tent or other structures may be set up on the property grounds.
- Renters agree to cover any cost related to damages (if any), including extra cleaning charges if needed or any unauthorized pets discovered, during their stay or within a reasonable amount of time after their stay. These amounts are charged to the credit card on file, followed by an email breaking down the fees and damages. No charges are ever processed without prior written notice. The minimum fine for damages is $500.
- Renters may be required to provide a government ID on check-in day or during the stay.
- Please avoid moving furniture.
- Pet-friendly (max 2 dogs) with prior authorization & pet fee. Must clean up after your dog or incur a $150 additional cleaning fee. Suitable for pets but there’s no pool fence and this is a desert area with coyotes, birds of prey & bobcats. Please don't leave them unattended!
- If you use the exercise equipment or sauna, you agree to do so at your own risk. We will not be held responsible for any action, claims, liability or loss in respect of the use of this equipment.
- Many items at the home run on propane (hot tub, fire pits, BBQ, pizza oven). Never turn the gas on and forget to light it! It’s an extreme fire hazard. If propane-run devices are left on, and the gas runs out, there's a minimum fine of $2,000 to refill the tanks.
POOL & JACUZZI SAFETY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT & RELEASE:
1. Supervision prevents drowning accidents: never leave children unsupervised in the pool, jacuzzi, or in the pool vicinity - not even for a second!
2. Always watch children in pool area. Do not rely on barriers to keep children from reaching the pool or jacuzzi. No barrier is childproof. Barriers only slow a child's access to the pool or jacuzzi.
3. In case of an emergency: act immediately and shout for help.
4. Pull the child out of the water.
5. Stay with the child and dial 911 (or the local emergency number) for help.
6. Check the airway & breathing. If needed and you're trained, start CPR immediately.
