Summary: This recently remodeled house was clean, nicely decorated and roomy. The backyard was lovely, and the neighborhood was quiet. However, there is room for improvement and needed amenities were missing. There was a large pile of boxes next to the driveway, a broken trampoline in the front yard, and the key pad entry system did not work. The sink in the main bathroom drained very slowly, and the toilet in the master bath gurgled when the other bathroom was in use. There were several typically included items that were missing from the kitchen: no coffee pot, no glasses or wine glasses, no pitcher, no hot pads, no dish towels, and only dishes for 4 (even though house sleeps 6). There were no poles to hang clothes on in the closets and no towel racks or toilet paper holders in the bathrooms. It would have been nice to have a hair dryer, garbage cans in the bathrooms, and extra toilet paper, towels and blankets. There were also no directions regarding procedures for the rental unit. The location was perfect to see the manatees at Blue Springs State Park. We enjoyed the patio, firepit, and views of the lake. We loved seeing all of the birds, including the Sandhill Cranes that walked down the street. We were especially excited to see the Space X launch from the backyard! In closing, this house has great potential. We hope that the owners will take the steps needed to address these issues.
