If you love the smell and sounds of nature, you love the peace and quiet, you love looking up and seeing stars at night, you love the feel of the cool night air in the woods, you love being smack dab in the middle of an outdoor lovers paradise, and you love sitting around a fire pit late into the night, this is the place for you! This 1160 sq ft house is located in the woods, at the end of a secluded road, located in the heart of the Irish Hills. It creates the perfect year-round family getaway. It is just a short drive to many of the lakes within the Irish Hills area. It's close to Michigan International Speedway, WJ Hayes State Park, lakes, trails, antique stores, and wineries. There are endless outdoor activities nearby such as hiking, fishing, biking, boating, golfing, kayaking, canoeing, etc.
This is a three-bedroom home that is tucked away in the woods at the end of a private drive. Ample parking is available out front. We welcome small and medium-sized boats. There is room for turnarounds for average-sized trailers.
The house itself features 3 bedrooms with generous bedding options. The Master Bedroom features a Queen Sized bed with a hotel-quality super comfy mattress. The second bedroom features two full-sized beds. And the third bedroom is great for kids, with 2 twin bunk beds. We also have two full-sized futons in the living room that can be used for sleeping quarters.
We have a large flatscreen TV, puzzles, games, movies, Dish TV service, and WIFI Internet to satisfy all of your entertainment desires. The house features a full kitchen and a full-sized washer/dryer.
We have a designated fire pit just off the deck at the side of the house, great for late-night campfires. (Fire-wood is free to use, but we ask that you replenish what you use so others may enjoy it). There is a giant picnic table on the deck that fits 8-10 people.
Guests have access to the entire house, deck, fire pit, and yard.
The house is located in a very wooded area, on a non-paved road. As such you will find many things that reside in nature that you may not be used to or familiar with. Please use caution with nature’s things. It's not uncommon to see Spiders, Ticks, Deer, Beavers, Poison Ivy, Squirrels, Snakes, and More.
There is no smoking allowed inside the house of any kind, including vaping, cigarettes, and Marijuana.
