Positive: This hotel is wonderful due to the extreme friendliness and helpful nature of each staff member I met. They truly take customer service seriously and were so kind & accommodating. I felt like a friend more than a customer. It's in a great location, close to the amphitheater and the center of town. Having a balcony with the room was great! The hotel could use a little polishing, but almost everything works. One of the outlets in my room didn't work, but since there were so many it was fine. You can hear conversations and footsteps. Most people were quiet by late eve, but if you are sensitive, bring earplugs. There are great blackout curtains. The elevator doesn't go to every room, so if stairs are a problem, be aware. The 4th floor lounge is a wonderful place to have breakfast with outstanding views of the water. I ended up working some from there, and it is just a pleasant place to hang out. The breakfast! After visiting many hotels in Turkey, often with the same breakfast, this one stands out! The vast array of salads and vegetables, fresh fruit, and home made baked goods was astounding. In addition, there is hot food such as eggs, potatoes, or Turkish pancakes. Each day was a little bit different. I loved the yoghurt with chia seeds and the fresh simit! Really, everything was good, and the chef was phenomenal. I would like to especially thank Yucel in reception who greeted me and so warmly welcomed me, and who also was able to direct me to transport services to Dalaman airport, and even called them for me to check out their departure times and made a to-go breakfast for me for my early morning departure. Thank you! I'd also like to thank Nilufer in reception who was so friendly and fun to talk with and gave me good tips on where to go and helped me order a pizza. Also shout out to Melike in the kitchen--as they say in Turkish, she has tasty hands! Truly, a wonderful cook and baker, thank you!
