This comfortable non-smoking accommodation in a quiet location is in the climatic spa town of Frielendorf on a residential holiday park. Thelake, Silbersee, is only about 450 metres away. The entrance to the house, the terrace and the garden with a wooden hut can scarcely be looked into.
The house totalling around 100m² for up to eight people was completely refurbished and renovated until 2014. It now features a new roof, new windows, real wooden floorboards on the ground floor, fly screens, electronic blinds, a new bathroom/WC on the upper floor, new heating, new beds and mattresses, and extra-large bed covers, a new sofa, new TV sets, a safe wireless Internet access and a fireplace. The ground floor has a hallway with a wardrobe, a cupboard and a big mirror, and a living room with a big sofa, a rocking chair, a fireplace, a flatscreen TV with a DVD player, CD-radio player, books, board games and a big dining corner. The upper floor has a fully-equipped kitchen with a little dining corner, a fridge with a freezer compartment, a ceramic hob, an oven, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, crockery, pots, pans etc. The bathroom provides a shower, a WC, a washbasin and a hairdryer. There is also a bedroom with a double bed (160 x 200cm), a four-door wardrobe, a flatscreen TV and its own WC. There are two further bedrooms in the attic, each with a flatscreen TV, a two-door wardrobe and access to a balcony. One has a double bed (180 x 200cm), the other has a smaller double bed (140 x 200cm), a big mirror and an armchair.
The basement offers an apartment of around 24m² with a separate entrance. It has two floor-to-ceiling windows with blinds and fly screens. A flatscreen TV, a DVD player, a stereo system, a wardrobe, a sideboard, a double bed (180 x 200cm), and a table with two chairs are provided. There is also a kitchen unit with a two-ring hob, a fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, crockery, pans and various cooking utensils. The bathroom with a window is fitted with a shower, WC and washbasin.
Since 2021 there is a high speed internet access available.
Outside there is a furnished terrace with a sun sail, as well as a garden hut for garden furniture, sun loungers, a parasol and a bicycle stand. There is only restricted car access to the park, but you can unload and load at the house.
Alternatively, you can also book this house without the basement apartment for six people, in which case it is not let out to other guests. Children up to five years old do not pay the local tourist tax. In rare cases, to be agreed with the owner, it is possible to bring a dog. The holiday park has a shop and a restaurant. There are further shops and restaurants for example in Frielendorf (1km), in Homberg Efze with its historical old town and castle (8km). You can visit the Kellerwald nature reserve (25km), Edersee (35km), or the Knüll wild animal park (7km). You can go surfing at Singliser Lake (11km), visit the mining museum in Borken (14km), Documenta in Kassel (43km), or Bad Hersfeld (30km). There are many recreational facilities right nearby (partially dependent on the season and/or for a fee): an outdoor climbing park, a summer toboggan with a playground and beer garden, a small animal zoo, an indoor playground for children (Frielo-Land), tennis, a minigolf course, pedalo hire, diving facilities, fishing, a wellness paradise (including a sauna, swimming, massage, slide), cycle tours etc.)
