Positive: It could be a cute place with some minor updates. The location was what I wanted, out of the way and quiet.
Negative: It wasn't clean at all. I found droppings on kitchen surfaces, everything in the kitchen was dirty (not just dusty from lack of use but there were remnants of old food stuck to pretty much every pot, pan and dish) and the bathroom had clumps of hair in the shower, the toilet smelt so bad you could smell urine as you walked up the stairs. The cushions on the sofa were broken so the insides were spilling out and the towels all needed to be washed before I could use them as they smelt. Had it not been Christmas and had I not been staying for so long (three weeks) I wouldn't have stayed but it was pleasant enough once I had cleaned everything.
