Summary: We were in town for races at Rockingham Dragway and decided to take a couple extra days for some R&R. This property allowed exactly that, some R&R from the hustle and bustle of the city. The area is quiet and so peaceful. The house was immaculate and provided every amenity one would need, from cookware to fishing poles and everything in between. I had my two teenage boys and their girlfriends with us and despite being away from our normal city life, they truly enjoyed every second of the weekend. We. Fished, paddle boated, and played games. We brought a magnet fishing kit but didn’t catch anything other than some lost hooks on the bottom of the lake. We were lucky enough to even witness the rare experience of seeing the northern lights over the lake which can only be described as magical. The travel time to Rockingham Dragway was abiut 40 minutes but it was all backroads with zero traffic so, it was a really easy drive. The hosts were wonderful to work with and very responsive before and during the stay. I highly recommend this property and the hosts. We will definitely be back.
