Positive: View from the road looked a little underwhelming but once you were at reception it was obvious this is a very nice hotel. The owners running it are obviously proud of it and so they should be. Everything had been thoroughly overhauled and modernised over the winter and looked wonderful. Our hosts were super friendly. Breakfast was individually laid out at our table and there was enough there to feed us for a week. Better than most hotels I’ve used at more than twice the price. Great place and so reasonably priced.
