Summary: Overall, it is not a bad hotel. The location is good, with about a 10-15 minute walk to the main square. There were no issues with cleanliness either. However, since this is a 4 star hotel, there are some things that I feel should be addressed for this hotel to reach a higher standard. 1.) The TV was unplugged when I arrived, and it was nearly impossible to plug it in. I've never stayed at a 4 star hotel that didn't have the TV plugged in. Not to mention that the remote worked horribly and the sensor would only worked if it was directly pointed at a tiny little spot somewhere on the TV. There was also no over the air channels, just a smart TV platform to use apps. I was able to download this "HDTV" app that had live TV channels from all over the world (including many from the US that are normally pay channels lol...felt kinda sketchy) but it should not be this complicated to use a TV. 2.) The hair dryer didn't work at all. The cord was stuck into the wall, so I'm not sure where it was getting power from, if any at all. 3.) I didn't find the service to be very friendly. I felt that it might be because the staff I interacted with was all male and because I am a solo female traveler with a backpack, I was perceived differently than other guests. 4.) The silver thing with the restaurant menu QR code didn't work to scan, so this should be fixed. Basically, I would be fine with some of this if it was a lower star hotel, but for a four star hotel, these should be improved.
