Summary: The hotel is terrific in all ways, including the spa and the hot springs/bath area. The rooms are well designed to enjoy views of the sea. The area immediately surrounding is lovely and right on the ocean, but there is next to no dining available after 7pm. Lunchtime is fine. The hotel offers a wonderful Japanese kaiseki for dinner, but we didn't think we would be hungry enough to enjoy it and opted to find something light outside. We could have taxied back to the station area, but were too tired (8:30pm). First-world problems, I know, but I would have appreciated this insight before declining the hotel dinner.
