Summary: The hotel gem is their staff, specially the reception desk. Staff like Andrea made sure that I was as comfortable as possible. The roooms need some TLC. My room specifically had a particular smell that I could only compare to high humidity. The AC was not too powerful so at night clothing interfere with comfort. The hotel hallway rugs need replacement they look old and generate an unpleasant smell. The hotel location is superb. Right in the heart of downtown Torre Del Mar and in front of many restaurants. The rooms are spacious and some have balconies. Most of the rooms are no ocean view. This hotel just needs to be brought to present days’ needs. I would stay again, but I would a request pleasant smell room. I
