Just a block and a half to La Quinta Avenida (5th Ave), you can grab a coffee and take a nice stroll to see all the hustle and bustle and, of course, great people-watching. Love the nightlife? Legendary Coco Bongo is just ½ block away, and you’ll find a variety of other restaurants, bars, and nightclubs along vibrant 5th Avenue.
Plus there are so there many things to see and do around Playa del Carmen - everything from the beach and beach clubs, water sports like snorkeling, scuba, paddle boarding, and boating, eco-parks with underground rivers, ancient Mayan ruins, cenotes (natural sinkholes special to this area!), private boat/yacht and fishing tours, golfing, day trips to Tulum or Cancun, and so much more!

Getting Around:
The condo is about a 60-minute (55 km | 34 mi) drive from the Cancun International Airport (CUN) and is located in the Playa Kaan condo complex in downtown Playa. The best way to arrive is to prearrange transportation or rent a car at the airport. If you don’t feel like renting a car and driving, taxis are always available, just be sure to take registered taxis only! Once in town, there are taxis and public bicycles available at the BiciPlaya stands. You can rent by the day or by the journey.
There are also 2 ADO bus stations for day trips to nearby locations:
- 5th Avenue and Benito Juarez
- 20 Avenida Norte and Calle 12
In the event you are driving, just note there are PARKING METERS in town. There is one digital parking meter per street and you have to look for it. The hours of operation are Monday to Sunday 10 am to 10 pm for a maximum of 6 hours. Display the receipt on the inside of your car, face-up on the dashboard. Failure to properly display will result in the vehicle being immobilized.

There is a $70 USD fixed electricity fee for stays of 29 nights or more, which will be charged the day before check-in. It includes 230 kWh per month. *This condo is close to downtown where there are lively bars open until midnight & sometimes until early morning hours so you may hear this noise, especially if you’re a light sleeper or someone that likes to go to bed early. So we ask you please keep that in mind.
