Summary: Despite arriving in heavy rain, the sunshine was shining in our hearts when we saw Le Petite Fagette - we had been constantly looking at the photos online ever since we booked the property in 2023, and the reality did not disappoint. For two weeks it was a real home-from-home, and it became our base for driving over 1000km, visiting many amazing villages and towns, or just discovering the stunning countryside of the Lot region - never a dull moment !! The Gîte was perfect, and we wanted for nothing - everything was provided by our excellent hosts, Corinne & Stephane. Despite living a distance away, they were always available to text or message via the VRBO app. This was a holiday that we will always remember, and we cannot thank our hosts enough. If you want idyllic bliss in an area that has surprises around every bend, then this is for you. Oh ….. and the private swimming pool was just the icing on the cake !! We visited so many places, but Rocamadour, St-Cirq-Lapopie, Cahor and Luzech were amongst the most memorable. Thanks again, Corinne & Stephane ….. your hospitality was greatly appreciated.
