Welcome to your Three Arch Bay pool home in Laguna Beach, CA. Three Arch Bay is a private, gate guarded Beach community with private walkway and stairs to glorious Three Arch Bay Beach. We have 24 hour roving security on staff.
Laguna Beach is known as an artists’ community with Summer Art Festivals, Pageant of the Masters, fabulous restaurants and bars, a great place to enjoy the sun, surf and sand. We are close to John Wayne Orange County Airport.
From your house, the beach is about a 3 minute drive or quick walk to what is considered one of the best beaches along the California coast. Our beach has a lifeguard during the summer daytime hours. The beach is equipped with BBQ's, bench tables and fire pits for your enjoyment. Three Arch Bay Community Park has kids' play equipment, basketball court and 2 private tennis courts. Pickleball Courts can be found at nearby Lang Park or Alta Laguna Park which has hours and hours of friendly Open Play most days of the week. You may choose to enjoy a trail hike up our hill to connect to the Orange County trail system for hiking with incredible ocean and hill views. During the summer, Park Night is usually held twice a week for kids 5 and up for games and playtime, fee required at sign-up.
Our style is an updated single story ranch/beach cottage which was remodeled inside and out in 2016. Our home is on about 1/4 of an acre, which is generously and uniquely sized for Three Arch Bay. Upon entry to the house is an ocean view great room with adjoining ocean view gourmet kitchen. The great room has a down filled sofa sectional and chair, remote controlled fireplace and TV. Off the Great Room is a view nook area with leather sofa, great for a sunny afternoon read.
The Chef’s kitchen has a waterfall island for entertaining, SubZero Fridge, Wolf Stove with cast iron grill and dual ovens, marble counters and Ann Sacks tiles fill the walls. Custom cabinets line the walls and island. An additional small nook round breakfast table adjoins the kitchen.
Dining area is a RH large barn style table with Restoration Hardware seating and our favorite spot to read the paper in the morning while enjoying the view.
The great room has a fold flat wall of glass doors. The “Nana Doors” open completely to open the home to the patio area to create indoor, outdoor summer living with an incredible view.
Off of the front door entry area heading left is the ocean view living room with book case, surround sound TV, sectional sofa and chair. Living Room has sliding glass doors that can close to separate the Living Room from the Great Room.
The office has sliders to the backyard and windows looking toward the ocean. We have high speed internet throughout the property.
Our home has 3 ensuite bedrooms in the main house and a 4th bed in the ensuite pool house. We have 5 baths total, one per bedroom and a Powder Bath. The house has French Oak floors which feel soft underfoot, rugs in main living areas and bedrooms. Inside Laundry is in the primary bedroom hall. We have A/C and heater for the main house. All bedrooms have overhead fans and screens on the windows.
The ocean view yard is where you will spend most of the summer when you aren’t at the gorgeous beach. We love our large brick patio with teak sofas and dining set off the great room with a wall of glass doors that open to the patio. Open the doors and you can watch the great room TV from the patio in the summer! We have a Weber Propane BBQ on the upper patio as well as a propane fireplace between the sofas for a cozy summer night. During the day, open up the large umbrella to shade the sofas and have that afternoon nap.
Head down the brick stairs to the pool/spa yard. The saltwater pool has a pool spa, heater and lights. There is plenty of seating in the spa and a sweet gazebo overlooks the pool deck. We have an automatic pool cover with a key to use if there are small kids on the property. The cover doesn’t guarantee safety, but makes access to the water more difficult. The gazebo has a teak sofa and chairs. There are two Pottery Barn lounge chairs and umbrella by the pool. a warm outdoor shower is to the side of the garage to wash up after the beach or to give the dog a once over.
The pool deck area is where you head into the French doors or Dutch door to the pool house, which has built-in cabinet wall with mini fridge and sink, you’ll also have an ensuite bath with shower, queen bed and desk. We have some gym equipment in the cabinets with stretch bands, light weights, exercise balls and a couple of yoga mats. The pool house has an overhead fan, there is no A/C or heat in the pool house. The pool house has tile flooring with rug, the wall tiles are designer and there is custom cabinetry in the room and bath.
Our landscape is cottage style, with lots of flowers. Our gardener comes twice a month on Tuesday morning and we have Thursday morning pool service each week. Our amazing housekeeper will come every other Friday during your stay to change the sheets and give the house a once over.
There is parking in the driveway for two vehicles, the garage will have our vehicles parked and locked. There is guest parking in the street. There is an extra refrigerator in the garage for your use. The house comes equipped with beach chairs, beach umbrellas, ice chests and toys for the beach.
