Waterfront --Come enjoy fishing & boating at our beautiful pet friendly No Smoking Lake Anna home. We take great pride in keeping our 6-bedroom/3-bath waterfront home well-kept and well-stocked.
Special features include a full entertainment center with a 52-inch Smart TV. Free high speed wireless internet that is perfect for those guests needing reliable internet for a working vacation. The open concept kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, and eating utensils for larger groups. Additional kitchen amenities include a toaster oven, blender, Drip coffee maker, Large Crock Pot, Air fryer and waffle iron (the cook will not be disappointed). The screened porch is ideal for eating & watching the sunsets over the lake. There's a pool table that converts to a ping pong table in the basement. Outdoor amenities include gas grill (propane provided). Large Stone fire pit with plenty of firewood provided. Guests have use of 2 kayaks and paddleboards (please bring your own lifejackets). There is ample on property/off road parking for tenants and an area to park boat trailers. Free and easy access to a community boat ramp. Our newest amenity is a roof over a portion of the top dock. It has a comfortable seating area. It is equipped with 2 ceiling fans for those hot days that you need shade and airflow but want to stay close to your group. Additionally ample room for the sunbathers soaking up the rays on the chaise lounges. Then complete your evening by turning on the Edison string lights that gives a soft hew as you relax and wind down, or laying out under stars.
As you walk into the front door you walk into an open concept kitchen and Great room. This is your main level with 3 of the 6 bedrooms. The kitchen has an adjustable table accommodating 6-10 seats depending on how many of the leaves you have in. There is also a breakfast bar for additional diners. The great room is a favorite gathering space for watching tv or reminiscing about the day's favorite events down at the dock or on the water. It has a beautiful view of the lake and easy access to the back deck and screened in porch which has a large table for up to 10 (comfortable)-12 (tight) people.
The stunning master bedroom is next to the great room and overlooks the lake with a walk out sliding door into the screen porch. It is nicely decorated with a king size bedroom set and with an on-suite bathroom.
On the opposite side of the great room/kitchen are the other 2 bedrooms separated by a hall entry full bathroom. The Queen bedroom has a sliding glass door to open to the back deck overlooking the lake. On the other side of the bathroom is a bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds facing the front yard.
The lay out of the lower level (basement) is very similar to the main level with the entertainment room in the middle and bedrooms on either side. The entertainment room has a pool table that converts to a ping pong table, TV surrounded by sofa and love seat and easy lake access with the 2 walk out sliding glass doors. As you walk down the steps and enter the main room on the left is a utility room with the washer and drier, hot water heater, electric panel, etc. The 2nd door leads to a queen bedroom with windows overlooking the lake. On the other side of the main room are 2 bedrooms separated by the newly renovated (Spring 2022) hall bathroom. To the left of the bathroom is the King bedroom with 2 windows overlooking the lake. The bedroom to the right is another bunk bedroom with 2 sets of twin over full beds…this is the favorite room of the kids!
As you make your way down the hill to the lake you will find a beautiful land and hard scaping surrounding a stone fire pit and patio (ample firewood included at no charge to you)...a great place for hanging out in the shade and still feel like you are part of the dock activities. Continue your way down the steps to 3 boat docks where swimming and watching the boaters go by is prime! Our newest improvement is our large dock now has a roof over a portion of the deck to allow for shade as desired, yet still allowing plenty of sun for the sun bathers. And the added bonus is the magnificent sunsets you will experience with our west facing house. If you have a boat you will appreciate the 4 point tie up area between the 2 docks. By the lay of the land the depth of the water drops off steeply but with the steps at the water’s edge makes for an easier entry and exit point for both humans and our 4 legged friends…just please be careful not to slip on the steps as algae does build up naturally.
Our Lake house is perfectly designed for families and friends that are looking for a quiet getaway that is still close enough to some metropolitan cities. Please keep in mind that the hill to the lake is not suitable for the lesser mobile people.
