Summary: The location of the property was great, as is the customer service provided by silver birches. However, the property itself was anything but overwhelming. To start it need major upkeep, as in cleaning. The outside is covered in spider webs and tree debris (more than average as of never tidied up), the over drawer was falling off, the laundry area was filthy, and the dishwasher (tried it 2x) did not dissolve the soap to clean the dishes. The kicker though was the sofa bed- I could not find any extra blankets or pillows for the sofa bed and was told on the phone to open it and look inside- when I did there were used sheets with blood spots and smears (similar to signs you would see from bed bugs). I checked the bed and couldn’t find any bugs but still took precautions when I got home just in case. That said, silver birches ran down sheets and pillow at 1030 at night when our kids were exhausted and ready to just crash for the night. These items should be clean and folded and in the unit itself. Also, there were extra towels, which was nice, but they were in a plastic bag, still balled up from the laundry and damp which made them unusable. All things said , it made me question the unit as a whole and the level of cleanliness. Property owner should do better. And definitely bring in an exterminator just in case. Property owner dismissed my concerns.
