Welcome to CASABLANCA!! Located in a quiet little neighborhood, away from the city's hustle and bustle. Casablanca is our home away from home.

Right away when you walk in the front door of Casablanca, you can see the beautiful Lake Poygan through the wall of windows just beyond the living room. In the kitchen, your views of the lake only get better, with a breakfast nook & lounge (aka the circle of love) area in the bay windows. There is a large kitchen table, which can easily seat 8. In the family room, your views of the lake are right in front of you, and in the evening after you have played on the lake all day, you will have a 48" TV w/dish network to watch as you sit back and relax. There is a convenient half-bath just around the corner from the family room. We also have a whole-house sound system, using CD's or an aux cord that plays your music throughout the house, outside and in the garage.
The kitchen has a 5 burner induction stovetop and Bosch dishwasher. With large custom cupboards for any storage you may need. The kitchen will have all the basics for your use... pots, pans, utensils, air fryer, toaster, keurig machine and a traditional coffee pot, Ninja blender/mixer, dinnerware and silverware.
All on the main floor, opposite side of the house as the family room, there are three bedrooms, all of which have a 40" tv using dish network. The elegant Master has a King size adjustable bed facing the lake, one large guest walk-in closet, and a master ensuite, featuring a water closet and separate shower. Both spacious guest rooms feature a Queen sized bed and a loveseat. Guest bedroom 1, has been named The Nautical Room. As you may have guessed, it is decorated in a nautical theme with a whale and a boat. Guest bedroom 2 has been named The Mermaid Room. With tasteful mermaid decor, this room is as relaxing as as it is beautiful. The guest bath is quite large and has a tub/shower combination, and a very large linen closet for all the towels and toiletries.
Downstairs, it is all VERY open! You will be amazed at just how large this basement is! The basement family room set up has a ceiling mounted movie projection. This means you get to watch your television stations and movies as they are projected onto the wall for a HUGE viewing area. The basement has two rooms which we have made into bedrooms, each with a trundle twin bed and loveseat, one decorated with Sea Horses and the other with Sea Turtles. In the family room area, there are also two queen sized
sofa sleepers. In the Sea Horse room, we have a queen sized electric air mattress/bed that is there for you to use if you need. It is in a compact suitcase carrier so it is easy to set up and easy to take down and be out of the way for daytime.
We have an 8' Brunswick pool table AND a cool foosball table ... There are game tables for board games, card games or dominoes; and we have a cart style popcorn machine! The kids - both big and small - are going to love coming downstairs to just hang out! Also downstairs is the washer and dryer, which you are welcome to use. No ironing on vacation!
**NEW PERMANENT DOCK IS BEING BUILT** At the end of our 80' long and 4' wide, sturdy dock, the water is just waist high (abt 3') You'll also see that is where we keep our watercraft on lifts. If you are interested in renting our 22' Bowrider Jet Boat and/or either of the two Jet Skis during your stay, they may be available. Of course, they would be under separate rental agreement and fees. We have lifevests of our own that are available for you to use, however, it is ultimately your responsibility for the safety of those on or near the water. On our huge patio, there is plenty of comfortable chairs and seating for everyone! You can also enjoy some time outside throwing bean bags or sitting around the fire. (Wood, marshmallows and crackers...we try to have a constant supply here, and ask that you kindly replenish whatever you have consumed.) ps we no longer have kayaks
The town of Winneconne is a cute, friendly, small community. The 20 minute drive to Oshkosh and the 30 minute drive to Appleton are both real easy ... even for me!
Lake Poygan is a sandy bottom lake, GREAT for fishing in all four seasons of Wisconsin. In the winter months, ice fishing and snowmobiling are also very popular in this area. Lake Poygan is on a chain of lakes, and is great for all day boating! Lake Poygan flows into Lake Butte des Morts (pronounced 'beauti-more'), down the Wolf river and then into Lake Winnebago. Dozens of stops for fuel and food all around ... and lots to see along the way.
You never know what kind of wildlife you will see. It is not unusual to see eagles, ducks, and pelicans; and on land you may encounter cranes, deer and rabbit.... I've seen pictures of a family of fox in our backyard from other guests.

There are no refunds due to the Lake's current or future condition.
