Adorable spacious lakefront cottage and separate private mini/guest cabin tucked away in 3.5 acres of beautiful property! Enjoy a cabin feel with a beautiful view right on Lake Allegan. Escape to the outdoors with an extra large outdoor fire pit, 4 person hot tub, and open grass space for lawn games. Private dock on lake includes sitting decks with chairs, paddle boat, and kayaks to enjoy.
13 miles from Bittersweet Ski Resort. Allegan roads open for ATV riding (search area map or DNR site for details) 15 miles from FennValley Winery. 5 miles from historic downtown Allegan. Close to wedding/event venues (The Silo, The Gathering, Robinson Manor, The Griswold, The Barn at Monterey Valley).
Main house includes 3 bedrooms, fireplace, full kitchen and bath, and sliding glass doors to deck patio. Bedroom 1: Queen bed and twin over full bunk bed; Bedroom 2: Queen bed; Bedroom 3: Queen bed and twin bed.
Separate mini house includes king size loft bed, Queen pull-out couch, kitchenette, fireplace, full bathroom, and tv and table area. Total guest accommodations in main house only (6-10); mini/guest house(2-4).
Both houses are fully furnished with custom log furniture, towels, sheets, blankets, tv's, DVD players, dishes and cookware. Washing machine and dryer included in main house.

Summary: We stayed at this property as we were in town for a family wedding. It is a great place for kids! The woods has a tire swing and little paths for exploring, a basketball game in the main house, Nintendo 64 and many games. We all enjoyed the hot tub in the morning while listening to the birds sing! I am sure this place is beautiful in the summer when you can utilize the lake for swimming and boating. Overall this was a wonderful stay close to Allegan! Check out the Goodwill in town if you go as they had some great new things!!
