Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: We stayed in Room 304, which faced the street. It was an apartment-style unit with a bedroom, bathroom, living room, small kitchen, and a small refrigerator. There was one TV in the bedroom and another in the living room. Breakfast was included in the room rate and was served on the hotel's terrace, which offers panoramic views of Antananarivo. The hotel is located on a hillside, and it is possible to reach the city center by walking down the market staircase near the church. The hotel recommended an excellent driver-guide, and thanks to him we were able to visit several attractions in and around Antananarivo. The hotel has an elevator, air conditioning, a 24-hour reception desk, and parking facilities. Although it is not located in the central area of the city, we took a sightseeing tour with the driver and visited the main attractions of the capital. We really enjoyed our stay and were very satisfied with the service and hospitality provided by the hotel staff. When traveling in Madagascar, be very careful not to brush your teeth with tap water. It is much safer to use bottled water, as untreated water may cause stomach problems.

Negative: The hotel is located on a hill, and there is not much to do or visit within walking distance, with the exception of the cathedral, which is nearby. We really liked the hotel and our room. The only thing that annoyed us was that not all of the electrical outlets were working, which made it difficult to charge our phones and other electronic devices.
