Positive: The villa complex was very tidy and swimming pool was warm and inviting (it was a cool day when we arrived). The owners could not have been more friendly and helpful, bringing the cart to move our luggage, passing the keys and showing us to our villa. We asked about hiring the bikes they have on-site and again they helped us modify the bikes to suit the riders. We understand this is their first year, we wish them all the best as they are on the right track! There are a number of restaurants and a pizza takeaway within walking distance (600 metres). We tried the pizzas and they were really good. I would highly recommend ordering in advance by phone, as they get very busy and it can take a while for them to be ready.
Negative: Finding the location proved slightly difficult using Satnav, as my system did not recognise the road as one-way. Once we located Le Petit Bois, future drives to it proved easy. Aim for the centre and turn left by the Pizza shop, then follow the road up to the Bus stop, the Le Petit Bois is on the road behind it. As the weather this year had been poor with heavy rain, our sun loungers were untidy. This was a small negative but the owners are definitely keen to improve, so I am sure it will be better next time!
