Beside the deck are stairs that will lead you down to the river and a private boat dock. You can park your boat or fish off the dock during your stay.
The River Retreat is about 6 minute drive to the Barnett Access boat launch and fishing area and a 15 minute drive into the heart of Heber Springs where you’ll find restaurants, antique shops, boutiques, and a movie theatre. You can also rent kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards from sulphur Creek Outfitters, located next to Walmart. There are also award winning trails located nearby that are excellent for a hiked to explore nature on dry land.
