The charming living area provides a snug place to congregate and relax, with underfloor heating, plush sofas, and cosy armchairs for maximum comfort. The rustic-modern interior has attractive beamed ceilings and exposed stone walls that have been softened with neutral shades and coastal accents. There is ample on-site parking on a large private driveway in front of the retreat’s stables, which can house up to four cars.

The retreat is ideal for families. A travel cot and stairgate can be provided for babies and children on request.
Dogs
Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome. We apply an extra charge per dog per week or short break to cover cleaning. This is an additional charge to the booking amount and can be paid by bank transfer direct to the property owners.

• Exit the M4 at junction 47
• Take the second exit off the roundabout and follow the A483
• Follow for one mile and take the second exit off the next roundabout onto the A484
• Follow for a further mile and take the second exit off the next roundabout
• Follow for ¾ mile and take the first exit off the next roundabout onto the B4296
• Follow for ½ mile. You will need to pass under a low railway bridge (max height 3.3m).
Turn right at the next lights in Gowerton onto the B4295
• Follow the B4295 for approximately 14 miles until you reach Llangennith
Drive carefully through the village and watch out for roaming sheep, horses and occasionally cows.
• Pass the Kings Head pub on your right and turn left at the mini roundabout
• Follow the road for 1/4 mile. Lower Mill is on your left hand side.

The nearest main line station is Swansea. You can get a connecting train to Gowerton.
We suggest either a taxi to Llangennith or the Bus to Llangennith from Swansea or Gowerton. Directions by bus from Swansea station and Gowerton are below.

Gower explorer buses run from Swansea’s main bus station at Quadrant Centre (0870 608 2608 for bus timetables). Services 116 & 118 go to Llangennith. The 116 Service can also be picked up in Hill Street, Gowerton. You may need to change to the 115 Service at Llanrhidian. Get off the bus at the mini-roundabout in Llangennith. Take the left hand turn at the mini-roundabout and walk 1/4 mile to Lower Mill, which is on your left hand side.
