The Space:
This massive wooded property offers a cozy fire-pit where you can roast marshmallows and watch deer wander through the yard and an oversized front deck with propane grill as well as upstairs balcony for lounging with loved ones.
The cabin has many updates, but still holds the charm of a mountain getaway!
Two step porch entrance into cabin with open concept shared dining room with 4 person table, living room seated with 3 person sofa, and kitchen equipped with necessary appliances, including electric stove and oven, microwave, toaster and is stocked with everything you need to cook a meal. Coffee lovers, bring your own whole beans and grind fresh blend using the included electric coffee grinder for a deluxe drip option with a gold star Moccamaster available to brew.
From main floor, pass through kitchen with doorway entrance into first floor bedroom with memory foam QUEEN sized bed with laptop friendly workspace including fully stand-up/sit-down desk and USB-3 enabled 24' monitor and washer and dryer. Also from main, pass through living room to enter enclosed stairwell with motion sensor lighting to 360sqft A-frame loft with one memory foam QUEEN sized bed along with hammock lounge chair with access to upstairs balcony and partially separated cozy nook with spare TWIN bed at the backside of the loft. Single bathroom is accessed from main floor with 48" single sink vanity and 60" stand-up shower. The living room has an LG smart TV and Netflix.
Leave your gear to dry at the entryway for day 2 with the available boot/glove dryer!
(PLEASE NOTE: This is a cabin in the woods, overall WiFi works well, however from time to time there may be outages out of our control. In addition, cell service works best when connected to WiFi. We will not issue any refund if there are WiFi issues. Please plan your trip accordingly!)

Getting Around:
You will need your own vehicle to get to the property. Gasoline – FILL YOUR VEHICLE ON YOUR WAY IN! The cabin is located 6.5mi east of the Ashford gas station and hours are LIMITED at the only pump in town!
Other Things to Note:
-This property does not have air conditioning.
-Power outages: This is a heavily forested remote area and as a result there can be power/internet outages sometimes from downed trees often during inclement weather. We DO NOT refund for early departures from power outages or any natural cause issues. If a power outage occurs during your stay, the cabin is equipped with a backup battery (110V, 1000W) which will power space heaters, lights, TV, coffee maker for a few hour window (6-8hours depending on demand). Please note, running water and wifi will not be available during power outages. We supply purified water available only during outages. Please provide your own water if you prefer not to access well water (see below)
-The cabin is on a shared well that is tested for safety. It is mountain water, high in iron and occasionally contains a red-ish hue but safe to drink.
-The home is family friendly but not child-proof
-Cabin is on a septic system, toilet paper only into toilet and please discard of other sanitary items in trash.
- Dogs allowed: Must be well trained and 2 plus years old. Please note that we do not have a fenced yard and strictly do not allow dogs on furniture including couches, throws, beds, pillows, and towels. Please let us know in your booking message that you will be bringing a dog(s). There is a pet fee: 1 pet is $60 +tax and 2 pets is $120+tax . Pet hair found on the furniture will be charged extra cleaning fees. (NO CATS)
If your pet is likely to chase wildlife they should not be brought to the property or remain on-leash at all times. Pets should not be left unattended unless you have a kennel to put them in while you're away. Pets are NOT allowed in Mt Rainer National park except in parking areas. You must pick up after your pet, both on the property and out in the community.
- Internet: 400mpbs (sometimes there are outages and we will not issue refunds for this due to the cabin being in a heavily forested area)
- Cellphone: cellphone signal is weak; you are advised to enable wifi calling/texting if your carrier allows! Currently Verizon tends to have the "best" coverage yet still weak signal in the cabin.
-We do not have air conditioning. Windows can be opened and there are fans available for use.
-This cabin is not set up for small children; there are no child locks or cribs etc.
- We provide firewood for the wood fire pit. Guests must first check local burn restrictions and strictly adhere.
- No guests are allowed beyond those in the booking.
- No parties are allowed.
- Any guests who break the house rules risk being evicted and will immediately be charged for any damages. Please treat the cabin as you would your own home, we want to be able to provide you and all future guests with a wonderful place to stay.
