5 Bedroom House in Lake Davenport Estates, Davenport

This beautiful, fully air conditioned, two-story house in a large corner plot, has a heatable swimming pool and has recently been upgraded. The great room has a 70 inch 4K smart cable TV with good cable package, there is a DVD player and a CD player/Ipod docking station.
We have stocked the place with plenty of films/CDs, books and games. There are two dining areas and the kitchen is fully equipped, there is also a laundry room with washer and dryer. The games room has an 8 foot pool table and foosball. Outside the large pool can be heated {extra charge} with a light for night time bathing, there are plenty of loungers and a table and chairs.
The bedrooms consist of a master suite with king-sized bed and en-suite with oversized tub, large walk-in shower, twin basins and a separate toilet it is located on the first floor. Also on this floor is a queen bedroom with bathroom with walk in shower across the hall which could be useful for the less able bodied guests. Upstairs there is a queen size bedroom with views of the pool and Disney fireworks. there is a twin bedroom and a bunk room with twin over full bed and ab twin trundle.
There is a large crib, a pack'n'play and high chair for an infant. The bathroom upstairs has a large walk-in shower. All the bedrooms have ample storage and a Roku TV, all the bathrooms have a hairdryer. There is a playstation (bring your own games). There are three telephones and you can ring anywhere in the US free of charge, we now have free broadband internet with fibre wifi so bring your laptop.
The development is only 12 minutes from the entrance to Disney World and Orlando's other amazing attractions are within a short drive. There are two supermarkets within 5 minutes of the house and 39 golf courses within a half hours drive (the nearest is less than 5 minutes). The area is excellent for shopping and restaurants with an awesome choice for every taste. The house is well situated with either coast being no more than 2 hours away on the I-4 east or west. Lake Louisa State Park is 10 miles up the US 27 and you can fish, swim, rent a boat or bikes it has BBQ and picnic areas and a huge cycle path all the way around the lake. There is a large park with sports facilities next door to our community with a huge dog walk around it all the way down to Lake Davenport.

Summary: Arrival was much later than we anticipated and the home was pretty in general, and the carpet and LR furniture were quite nice. Entering the home (keyless) was a breeze. Except for two issues, we have no complaints about the home: the kitchen oven was filthy, crusted and probably had never been cleaned since the home was built, and the roaches ,ants and other bugs, not sure what they are called were a nuisance--we had to go buy bug spray. Manager was contacted re the oven the next morning. Mr. Shepherd (?) came to check but due to the impending holiday, couldn't offer help until 2 days later. The homeowner was emailed, and also VRBO was contacted. Ahmed of VRBO said he would also contact the owner. We were grateful that soon after contacting VRBO/Ahmed, a gentleman came to clean the oven. Though he scrubbed and removed some of the debris, the oven was only minimally improved. The oven smoked throughout our stay. Re the bugs, the manager suggested we spray the perimeter because "this is Florida". When we arrived, there were a couple of broken and malfunctioning items brought to the attention of the manager. The walls and doors should have been cleaned before we arrived. Thank you Ms. Lawson for the use of your home.
