The Point of View Cottage is located 1 km from Walker's Point Marina. Kids can ride bikes there and get candy and ice cream on the new, nicely-paved quiet cottage road.Excellent location in the heart of Lake Muskoka. 10 minutes from Bala and 15 minutes from Gravenhurst. 2 hours north of Toronto.
PROPERTY
POINT OF VIEW offers beautiful sunsets while you are having a glass of wine and after it goes down, enjoy a roaring fire surrounded by water and the echoes of the Muskoka nature. It doesn’t get much better than that!
Over a 2½ acres of property surrounds this pie-shaped vintage Muskoka property. Pine needles adorn worn paths with flagstone steps that will lead you from the driveway to the door around to the front of the cottage, where there is a landing area and paths to either the swimming dock or the boathouse dock. Swimming dock is shallow sandy bottom right at the water's edge. Water is clear and pristine, with foliage right at the water’s edge. The kids jump from the dock and swim to the floating dock about 10 feet out in the water. There is a paddle boat. Docking space for 2 boats.
INTERIOR
The cottage is a modern and spacious open-concept main floor with 25-foot cathedral ceilings, walls of windows, and stainless steel appliances. Main floor contains kitchen, dining room table seating 10, and large sectional sofa. There is also a TV, 2 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms plus laundry room. Upstairs are 2 additional bedrooms. 2 bedrooms contain two Double beds each and 2 bedrooms contain 1 Queen bed each, to accommodate 10 people in the main cabin. There is a screened-in porch area with 2 large couches for a secondary sitting area which leads to an outdoor deck and BBQ. Great for 2 families, such as 4 adults and their children. There is also a Bunkie that contains 2 twin beds for extra more rustic sleeping capacity, or for the kids to be “camping out”.
