Positive: Sits right on the beach, could look out 7th floor balcony and see the pools right below— and the beach and ocean right on the other side. Security and safety was important, and a gated property with security was important. Few local restaurants across the street — 2 minute walk (but limited). Cold AC was very helpful. Property owner was easily accessible.
Negative: Both bathrooms were in desperate need of a renovation; more specifically, the shower faucets were very rusty / looked very unsightly— maybe because of the salt in the air. I did not want to shower and be in the showers— both showers were equally in poor condition. Also, water damage on the ceilings (Sheetrock coming off / very poor repair work obvious), the 1x1 colored tiles in the shower that were once beautiful were no longer appealing to the eye. As an Air BnB owner, I recognize the importance of reinvesting and renovating the property as needed, rather than appearing to simply neglect the property and still ask top dollar for nightly rates.. Victor, it is wayyyy past the time to pause and renovate the bathrooms—- otherwise, cut the rate in half (maybe $75 night) and it would be a fair exchange.
