Summary: I drove down with my vehicle for one month in March for a "work"-cation - primarily me, then my father visited the final week. The property is nestled in a quiet, suburban neighborhood, with a relatively short walk to Higgs Beach (south shore) and a longer walk to downtown/Duval Street. The property is clean, well-maintained, and had all essentials (toilet paper, paper towels, sponges, dish soap, salt/pepper, pots/pans, etc.) initially stocked as described. Technically on shared property, you would think it was standalone: although the owner is very friendly (we casually spoke a few times) he absolutely respects your privacy. It truly felt like my own place. The main attractions for me, as a working individual, were the quiet atmosphere/patio and fast internet connection + little desk pullout section next to the television - great for working outside too. The bed is clean and mattress is very comfortable. The bathroom is also very clean/hot water/good pressure. Parking at the property is free and always available, either under the designated awning or alongside the street. If you are a single person or couple wishing to visit Key West in style but also value peace with the option to head into town for festivities, I highly recommend you stay here. I also recommend this for solo female travelers - I felt very safe with 3-series of locks and the location in a tranquil and safe neighborhood. tldr: wish I booked 2-3 months instead of one!
