Summary: My friends and I were returning to Canada from a long motorcycle trip. We booked this hotel because the price was very low and all we really needed was a place to sleep for a few hours. The inside of the hotel was very hot, no air conditioning was turned on. I guess this is good environmentally but it was very uncomfortable. The air conditioning was not on in the rooms as well, it took over an hour for the air conditioner (dated) to cool the room. The room itself had a nice bed, sheets freshly changed and made properly. There was a remote for a TV that did not exist. There were only the barest of essentials (soap, tissue, toilet paper, towels). There was no water available, choices for alcohol or other beverages, snacks, or other toiletries common in most other hotel rooms. The air conditioner was dated and its operation was loud making it difficult to fall asleep. There was a continental breakfast offered which consisted of buscuits and gravy with watered down orange and apple juice. I don't mind that the rooms are rustic and there aren't a lot of amenities but some attention to small comforts would have gone a long way. The one thing that was good was the desk manager or concierge. He was attentive, friendly, and professional.
