Summary:
Welcome to the Rocket City Retreat! This two-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom townhome is perfect for your next Huntsville getaway. Our place can comfortably sleep 8 and comes furnished with everything you need to feel “at home” during your stay! Less than 20 minutes to the US Space and Rocket Center, UAH, and Monte Sano State Park. You won’t want to miss this hidden gem!
The Space:
Guests will enter the home through the front door with a digital door code. Once inside, you will be welcomed into foyer where you'll find the stairs which lead to the bedrooms on your left and the spacious kitchen on your right. The kitchen is fully equipped with a full-size refrigerator, over, stove, dishwasher and microwave. You'll also find a cute bistro table and a full array of pots and pans! Just past the kitchen is the dining room with a table for four which overlooks the serene living room with a cozy couch and chairs, oversized TV and brick fireplace (While we would love to use this fireplace, unfortunately, it is for looks only!). There is a half bathroom downstairs.
Upstairs, you'll find two bedrooms and one bathroom that is connected to both rooms! The first bedroom features a king bed and there are two full beds in the second bedroom. If you need additional sleeping space, the couch in the living room has a queen pullout bed!
Access to the backyard is found through the double doors in the living room. The backyard is fully fenced in with a charcoal grill and a chair set.
Guest Access:
The house has a digital keypad at the front door which will provide you access to the house. The code will be provided upon check-in. You will have full and private access to the home.
The Neighborhood:
This is a transitioning neighborhood. We have had some guests who say they do not like the neighborhood. We think it is great, and we love our family-friendly neighborhood and have never had any security issues or concerns but we recognize that every guest has different life experiences. Please do not book this house if our neighborhood makes you uncomfortable. If you do decide to cancel after arriving, it will be subject to our moderate cancellation policy.
Getting Around:
There are two parking spots for this house so please be mindful of our neighbors! Uber, Lyft, and other Taxi available, but driving is encouraged! Please note, parking is behind the home.

We require a signed rental agreement and for guest to be 21 years of age to book.
If you notify us of your intent to cancel prior to the lapse of the free cancellation period, we will return 97% of your payment. The other 3% will already have been collected by the credit card processing company, and we have no way to return that portion of the payment.
We are a pet friendly home. Pets must be crated when they are left unattended in the home. We do not allow pets on furniture or beds, and all waste must be cleaned up from the yard. All pets require a non-refundable pet fee. If there is evidence of pet hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged the cost to clean this. In the event that a security deposit is collected, we will retain all or part of the security deposit to cover any costs associated with additional cleaning due to pets.

We like to give our guests maximum privacy, so we offer contact-free checkin via a digital door code. Just know that we are only a phone call away if ever the need arises during your stay!
