Summary: My wife and I just returned from our 2nd annual, 4-week stay at Paige and Calvin's home in Palm Desert, and if this isn't the best rental location in the valley, what is? The El Paseo restaurants and shops are two minutes away. Two minutes further and you're at the McCallum Theatre, where a wide range of world-class performers await. We went to three performances on this trip and loved them all. In the opposite direction, 5 minutes up the road takes you into the San Jacinto National Monument. Bighorn Sheep, desert wildflowers, endless interesting hiking through beautiful desert landscapes. All of this at your fingertips while staying in a comfortable home, with a lovely, private yard and views over the valley. Paige and Calvin live just up the road if you need anything. And I'd be wrong not to mention the homemade ice cream and homemade brownies waiting for you.
