Welcome to your mountain escape!
This mountain top home makes you feel like you're on vacation on top of the world. 4×4 vehicles are recommended, but not required to reach the cabin. See bottom of description for more details regarding the road up the mountain.
Welcome to the Livin' Lodge, rustic vibes with the comfort of modern amenities. This is the perfect home for gathering friends and family and witnessing the most epic sunrises in the Blue Ridge. Our 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath home has 3 balconies including a main and lower level deck. Our Kitchen is well stocked and features a kitchen table large enough for your entire crew.
We have 2 living spaces, one on the main floor that features a gas log fireplace with easy remote control and Television with a Firestick that includes Sling TV to catch whatever sportsball game you're into and Netflix, Amazon and whatever other streaming platform you like. The living room opens up to insane mountain views on our deck that has a propane grill. Our downstairs living room features a smart TV and dry bar that opens up to our lower level deck to watch wildlife and access the side yard and hot tub.

Bedroom 2 (Main floor) 1 King Bed, bathroom is beside but not connected to room
Bedroom 3 (Main floor) 2 twin beds, narrow small room perfect for kids, bathroom shared with bedroom 2
Bedroom 4 (downstairs) 2 double beds with an ensuite bathroom and balcony
Also: Laundry room and a connected ½ bath.
Wifi: We know how important Wifi is in the mountains. Our Wifi is awesome, you can stream and work and game all you like.
Surrounding Area: We will be so excited to make recommendations for restaurants, food trucks, bars, hikes and other things to do. You have to be OK with a 20 minute drive to get places if going out and about is important to you while you're here (which you should definitely do, Lake Lure is awesome). You are ~24 min from the house to Ingles, Note up/down the mountain drive is about 8-10 minutes so once you get down it's 14 minutes max. The drive to the thick of Lake Lure (Dirty Dancing hotel, concentration of bars and restaurants) is just under 30 minutes. The roads all around Lake Lure are 35 MPH and very winding which is why it takes a little longer to get places. Don't let this stop you, the paved roads are in great condition, safe and what's an extra 10 minutes for good food and a margarita?

This is a pet friendly home - up to two dogs (50lbs or less) are allowed. A pet fee of $75 plus tax for one dog will be applied to your reservation cost if you choose to bring your dog(s) with you. The pet fee for a second dog is $45 plus tax. Guests must agree to the pet requirements and a Pet Addenda must be signed confirming that. Dog(s) must be house trained. Sorry, no cats, other household pets, or exotic animals are allowed.

Roads/Driving up the Mountain:
We do not want to mislead our potential guests, the roads are unnerving for those that do not have mountain driving experience. Do not attempt this drive in the dark for the first time or in a small, low to the ground car. You do not need a 4 wheel drive but it's always easier with it. We (owners) do not have 4 wheel drive, neither does anyone in our family and the drive has never caused anyone issues but it is STEEP. Not the entire drive up, just moments of it (mostly the driveway and first ½ mile where there are 2 switch backs) but it's a wide gravel road, there are no steep ledges or edges/cliff faces to fear. This drive IS SAFE. We do understand that it's not ideal (although we love walking it, it's a great work out). Reach out with questions.
