River Symphony is nestled into the mountains next to the river - it is a tranquil place just a stones throw from Chimney Rock Village. Local attractions nearby included: Chimney Rock State Park, the waterfall filmed in The Last of the Mohicans (viewed from the cabin in some seasons). Lake Lure Inn & Spa, Lake Lure Beach, Hickory Nut Gorge Brewery, Riverwatch Grill, Burntshirt Winery Tasting Room. Plenty do to for the outdoor enthusiast, like zip lining, hiking, boating, river tubing, and much more! Or stay in and cozy up by the fire and enjoy a weekend away. We are also under a one-hour drive from Downtown Asheville and not far from Hendersonville, Biltmore House and Gardens, countless apple orchards, local wineries and breweries, and many mountain villages.
Easy walking or biking distance to all of the attractions of downtown historic Chimney Rock (note that there is no sidewalk down to the town). Lake Lure Beach and the Flowering Bridge are a long walk or short drive away. A car is needed for other sites as there is little public transportation.
