Close to Canyonlands and Arches with incredible views of the Abajo Mountains, central among more than a dozen state and national parks, monuments, and many ancient ruins. If you are coming to golf, the Hideout Golf Course is less than a mile away. Set in a beautiful location at 7,200' elevation this cabin is the ideal location to relax and enjoy your vacation.
Muddy Paws Ranch has many special features you will love that will bring you back year after year. Sleeps up to 8, with 2 bedrooms each with queen beds, an additional kids room area with two full-size beds, and a playroom. There is a queen size air mattress available on request, linens for the air mattress are provided. A Pack-N-Play for the little ones is also available on request.
The upper level features the large master bedroom, with exquisite views of the Abajo mountains on one side and a clear unobstructed view all the way to the Colorado mountains on the other. You will be astounded at how far you can see, the sunrises and sunsets are truly breathtaking! There is also a kid's bedroom with two twin-size beds and a playroom with lots of games and toys for the kids and family.
Downstairs there's a small bedroom with a queen bed, the dining room, a large family room, kitchen, laundry room, with washer and dryer, and the bathroom. The kitchen has all the appliances you could want, it even has a hot dog toaster! The bathroom is amazing with a one of a kind shower and a wonderful soaking tub that will soak away all the muscle aches from the day's activities.
Outside you'll find incredible views on all sides with deer and other wildlife abundant. There is a fire pit and charcoal grill and under the porch, there are bird feeders attracting a large selection of birds as well as hummingbirds. Enjoy morning and evening walks among the deer and wildlife on 5 acres of private land including two acres of fenced pasture for your personal use and miles and miles of adjacent public land and trails. Sorry, motorized vehicles are prohibited in the ranch and most of the surrounding areas however there is plenty of parking for all your vehicles and trailers to be able to trailer to some of the nearby trailheads.
And with a name like Muddy Paws Ranch, how could it not be pet friendly? The house sits on an acre of land that is fully double fenced where you can play with your dogs and they can run to their heart's content off-leash. There's a doggy door in the living room leading to a fully fenced dog run for them to play in with an outside water faucet. There is even a doggy porthole by the front door so they can watch the world go by from inside the house. Three crates\kennels are provided on request at no additional charge, however, there is a pet fee for each pet up to the maximum of three pets. Want to avoid the pet fee?? Book three or more days and there is no pet fee, wow!! Just let us know when you book for 3 or more days that you are bringing pets with you and when we process your reservation we will not charge you for them! Please note that biodegradable pick-up bags are provided so please make sure that you pick up after your pets during your stay with us.
Please note that our pricing is based on a four-person occupancy with a small charge per person for additional guests over the four-person base rate. This makes it so everyone can afford to stay here and smaller groups aren't paying the full property fee.

Also note that the cleaning fee is set to $250 for Airbnb guests only, all other bookings sites it is $75.00 and it will be adjusted when we process your reservation. This is due to Airbnb requiring us to absorb certain costs that we cannot provide without raising our rates significantly which we do not want to do. Since these cost are only for Airbnb guests we don't feel it is fair for other guests who aren't booking through Airbnb to pay for them. When we explained to Airbnb that we couldn't absorb these costs, they told us to raise the cleaning fee significantly to cover them "we recommend that you set a consistent cleaning fee across all reservations, making sure to allow yourself some wiggle room for those instances in which a deeper clean may be needed" So please do not contact us about the cleaning fee, contact Airbnb and bring it up with them or alternatively find a different booking site.
